Ammon Education Center, Christiana Hospital
The Delaware Health Science Alliance Curriculum and Education Task Force will host “Creating Clinical and Research Teams for the Future: Workshop on Collaborative Education for Clinicians and Scientists” on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at the Ammon Education Center of Christiana Hospital. All NSF grants and many NIH grants require educational or mentoring components for their grant applications. This workshop focuses on developing skills to write educational grants. The day will include information on how to obtain educational grant funding, setting goals and evaluating an educational program, and developing an application for the DHSA Education Pilot Award. Members of the DHSA Curriculum and Education Task Force will provide mentorship throughout the day, and will work with workshop participants to develop robust educational teams to deliver cutting edge team-based education to future clinicians and scientists, consistent with the changing needs of our healthcare and research organizations.
