Biography:
Dr. Little received is MD and PhD [Biochemistry, enzymology] degrees from the University of Vermont. His undergraduate degree is a BA in Physics from Cornell University. His residency and fellowship training in anatomic & clinical pathology and neuropathology were all at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont.

Dr. Little has been Vice President of Academic Affairs and Research for Christiana Care Health Services since October 2000. He came to CCHS from MCP-Hahnemann University School of Medicine, where he was Senior Associate Dean for Graduate and Continuing Medical Education and Affiliate Affairs. In his present position, Dr. Little has responsibility for the allied health, undergraduate medical and graduate medical education programs at CCHS. He also oversees the clinical research enterprise which involves clinical trials, health services research, the Institutional Research Board and the support infrastructure.

Dr. Little has research interests in biomedical imaging, neuromuscular disease and slow virus diseases such as Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. He serves on several regional and national committees in medical education, and is on the editorial board of the Journal of Continuing Education in the Health Professions. Other interests include the history of medicine and health care economics.

May 5, 2010--More than 275 people from the health sciences research and education community turned out for the 2010 Delaware Health Sciences Alliance Conference on Tuesday, May 4, to share research and explore issues in health care.
UD and Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital to partner on bone disorder study
April 15, 2010--In search of a new treatment for the debilitating disease osteogenesis imperfecta (OI), a team of researchers from the University of Delaware and Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children is initiating a two-year study exploring the use of an FDA-approved vibration platform in children with OI.
